2018 Year Of WIPocalypse

A la Anne P, here is a list of the projects that I plan to work on in 2018 for WIPocalypse and Year of WIPs.

  • Quotes to Live By by Stitchrovia:

I finally finished this one on October 8, 2018
No photo description available.
  • Whacky Witches in Stitches by Cloudsfactory:
This one was nowhere NEAR finished at the end of 2018, but it's a part of my 2019 Year of WIPs:
Image may contain: 3 people

  • Garden Geisha by Joan Elliott, a DesignWorks Kit:
Give up: I put this whole kit in Adopt a WIP in January when I realized I wasn't going to work on it anymore.

  • Around Europe SAL by DMC:
Give up: This was no longer bringing me joy so I sold it on @bendystitchydestash in April and I'm happy to say it has a happy new home!

  • Golden Gate Avenue Janlynn Kit:
Give up: I sold this whole kit on @bendystitchydestash in April when I realized I wasn't going to work on it anymore.

    • Halloween Luck by Glendon Place:
Again, nowhere near finished for 2018, but I hope to finish it in 2019:

    • Alice Under the Dreaming Tree from HAED:
I managed FOUR pages on my first HAED ever in 2018, so goal achieved. Here are the first three pages finished:

And here is the fourth page and change:

    • Toasty TARDIS (named by Kelli Anne and I) by Pixel Power:
There may be a theme here, nowhere near a finish, but added to my Year of WIPs 2019:
    No photo description available.

    • BeInkspired by Emma Congdon, Stitchrovia:
I finished this on May 28, 2018. It's stitched with most of the called for colors (with some tiny tweaks in color and chart) on a 25-ish count linen that I found at the thrift store and overdyed with just a bit of Navy Rit:

    • Skeleton Crew by the Cricket Collection:
I may have to restart this one. I went cheap on the fabric and I'm trying to stitch it on a fat eighth of 28 count 1/1. I'm not in love. I'd love it MUCH more on 36 or even 32 or 28:

    • Plague Doctor by BuzzBee Designs on Etsy:
No finish here either, this is a DENSE project! Also not in my YoW 2019 I'm pretty sure:

    • Alice in Wonderland by DoNa Stitch:
Why didn't I work on this more? I love it but I just had too many starts...

    • Lady of the Flag by Mirabilia (stitching her twice):
I'm totally out of love with Sue and Moe...

Now THIS should be finished. I love it. and it's part of YoW 2019:

    • Class Schedule SAL by Armada Designs:
Give up: after seeing the January release for this mystery SAL, I tore out the stitches and reassigned the fabric. I wasn't in love.

    • Skeleton Mosaic by Works by ABC:
Almost no progress. I'm guessing this will be a restart. I just don't love the fabric ONE bit:

    • Christmas SAL by TinyModernist:
I MAY have stitched on this one day... MAYBE:

    • The Phantom Menace by FangirlStitches on Etsy:
Give up: This was no longer bringing me joy so I sold it on @bendystitchydestash in April and I'm happy to say it has a happy new home!

    • Bee Study by Kathy Barrick:
Zero progress. BUT! Year of WIPs 2019 here we come:

I did not finish this in 2018. I don't think I even touched it. BUT. It was my third finish of 2019. The red one is mine and it's already made its way back to its owner.
