Since the last video, I finished my 1200 stitches for the April Full Coverage Fanatics stitch challenge and I'm well into my 1200 for May.

I also worked on Black'd Skie. I love this piece soooooo much:

I CANNOT overstate how dear this project is to me!! I put in 1045 stitches for the Magical Stitches Quidditch Match and I could not be happier with my progress. This is a borrowed chart and I REALLY want to finish it this year, so I changed the date on the tombstone from 1727 to 2019. It's happening.

It's on 40 count Prim Fabric of the Month from Ship's Manor. GORGEOUS!

I also stitched just a little bit on Brocade Boulevard from Stone Street Stitchworks on Etsy:

I worked on this project one day at lunch this week. I just didn't have a lot of travel stitching time. But all progress is good progress.

I love that picture because it REALLY shows the progress I've been making in my technique!! You can see the first set of purls was ROUGH. The second got better, and the third is looking good!!

I'm carrying it around in a bag from Evertote. By Caroline from Off the Grid Needlearts/Fibre Friends. Her shop is on a break right now, but follow it anyway!!

Purchases:

Two cones of DMC 3371. It was supposed to be one to split with Emmy and Chelsea for our Contessas.... but oops!

I got them from Amazon, so I'll just go back and buy the DMC 310 cone.... HERE (on my affiliate link).

I found the Happy Hearts Sampler from Birds of a Feather on eBay!!

It's a FULL kit and already well underway!! I can't wait to finish this!! WOOHOO!!

I finished Dust and Shadow by Lindsay Faye:

Really good story. I gave her 4.5/5 stars. Ms Faye wrote Sherlock Holmes REALLY well. He was likeably pretentious.
