Happy Saturday! !
Best New Thing:
- Love You More Studio Co has a new box: Alice in Wonderland!!
AND!! The box is going to have a NEW Bendy Stitchy design in it!! My code won't work for the box, but get one anyway! I did. ;-)
FFO
- Rose Weasley, aka I Give You My Heart by Barbara Ana Designs:
Isn't she AMAZING!?!? JoLyn, @wizzgirljo on Instagram, at Acorns & Threads fnished her for me and I could NOT be happier!! Call the shop (503-292-4457) and see about having JoLyn finish something for you!
Finishes: (none this week, but stay tuned!)
WIPs (Works in Progress):
- First up, of course, Contessa with Squid from Heaven and Earth Designs:
Or, as I affectionately call them, Josephine and Humphrey. Here is where I was last week:
Since the last video, I decided to try to put in 200 stitches per day on Josephine. For the most part, I've hit that goal. Not every day, but enough that I made excellent progress and I'm SUPER happy with her.
I'm stitching this on a piece of 20 ct Aida from eBay. I just typed in "hand dyed Aida" and came up with THIS beauty!! Try it!
And, just for the throwdown record, here is where Lolly is with this:

I made REALLY good progress on her this week because I managed 700 stitches for last week's homework, plus 800 stitches for this week's homework, AND I'm 836 stitches into the 1000 for the Yearly Extra Credit: 7 Horcruxes. Is this another finish for #FinishMaynia? Perhaps!!
- Because Lolly issued a #crossstitchthrowdown, I'm still working on Halloween Luck from Glendon Place:
Here is where I was last time:
Here is where I am this week:
Not a ton of progress, but progress is progress and the pumpkins will get eyes this weekend so I can finish the homework for School of Magical Stitches & Literature (linked below).

It was a gorgeous day for knitting at the park and at t-ball practice (Rose's t-ball practice!) Kids are FASCINATED by knitting in public!!
